PrEP involves regular medical check-ups, including history, examination, and lab work, tailored for those at high risk in Metro Detroit, including sexually active individuals, women, men who have sex with men, those with recent STD history, and injection drug users. Options include bimonthly injections or daily oral medications, with monitoring visits every 3-6 months.

Both PrEP and nPEP services are accessible through Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance programs for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
